Sapkowski's writing is good, but if his idea was to have Ciri be a manifestation of evil then I think he failed. That wasn't at all what Geralt and Ciri's descent represented (to me). This seems fake though because it explicitly stated that Geralt died when I thought Sapkowski's intention was to leave it up to the reader's philosophy to figure
